White lacquer over the original Beale, its panels set with marbled resin and crystal.

Ghost is the ethereal one: an original Beale upright taken back to its frame and rebuilt in white. The cabinet is refinished in layered white lacquer, and the upper and lower panels are set with marbled resin threaded with crystal, so that a seam of light seems to run through the piano. The side panels are lit from within.

The action and strings are restored and regulated before any cabinet work begins, and the finished piece is tuned by a specialist piano technician. Ghost is one of one and will not be repeated.
